- Our brooms are made from extra-long broom corn grown specifically for constructing besoms. The handles are made from straw corn.
- They are an effective sweeper of dust, litter and leaves, and as such are invaluable in the home as well as in the garden or yard.
- The corn broom head is made from a type of sorghum known as rice straw. The seeds of the sorghum plant are used for cattle fodder and the stems are dried to make a straw for brooms.
- The straw is thin, light and strong, which is what you want to make the best brooms.
- Sizes are approximately 800 mm total length. The broom head is 280 mm approx.
